MULTILATERAL CONVENTIONS

NEW YORK CONVENTION ON THE RECOGNITION AND ENFORCEMENT OF FOREIGN ARBITRAL AWARDS (1958)

Egypt acceded to the Convention in 1959, through Presidential Decree No. 171/1959.
Arbitral awards issued in Italy are recognized in Egypt, and vice versa, facilitating the resolution of international commercial disputes.

TIR CONVENTION

Both Italy and Egypt are parties to this Convention, which facilitates international transit of goods by reducing customs formalities and improving the efficiency of land transportation.
Egypt acceded in 2020, while Italy is a founding member.

WTO AGREEMENT (1995)

Both Egypt and Italy are members of the World Trade Organization (WTO), which regulates the rules of international trade and facilitates the resolution of trade disputes among its members.

The WTO Agreement (1995) establishes rules for international trade in goods and services, as well as for the protection of intellectual property. Both countries comply with WTO regulations to facilitate global trade and ensure fair and open market access.
